THE TRANSFORMATION HAS BEGUN

We finally have decided to have our backyard landscaped. Yes, we hired a landscape company to do ALL the work for us. Let's face it, with three kids there would be no time to get it done (ever).


The large tree in south corner was nice for shade, but all three trees had bugs and were leaking tree slime.

The two smaller trees were not as bad, but we decided to cut them all down and put in some nice flowering trees

A TRIBUTE TO "MOM"

This week the girls have been busy making Mother's Day cards for their special grandmas. They had one more card to finish up this morning so it could be hand delivered to their great-grandma. KJ was busy drawing special hearts and adding beautiful princess stickers, while RJ was working on her own masterpiece. I'm not sure what I was thinking leaving a four year old and a two year old alone with markers, but hey I did. I returned to help finish things up and noticed a lovely tribute that KJ had diligently hand crafted for me. Enjoy:) Happy Mother's Day to all.
