Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle

What? RJ lost a tooth and she is not even in Kindergarten yet.  She has two more loose teeth too! What am I going to do with her?  I love it when they lose their first tooth, they are so excited.  The tooth fairy came and you got five quarters (they get one quarter for each year old they are). At this rate the tooth fairy is going to go broke visiting our house.  She should have thought a little harder before she came up with that policy :) can't change it now- they remember!

Amazing job RJ!!

RJ finishing the last page of her 386 page kindergarten workbook. She has been consistently working out of this book for over a year. When we started on it we set a goal together and decided that when she finished she would get to take a trip to build a bear.


I love the look on her face. She was elated. She loved putting a heart in her Hello Kitty animal, brushing it and picking out a cute dress. She is now feverishly saving up her chicken money to go back to build a bear to properly outfit her Kitty with a full wardrobe.

RJ- we are very proud of all of your hard work and you should be too! She told me the other day that when she got into Kindergarten she wanted to knock her teacher's socks off. I think your teacher is going to be very happy with your mad 5 year old skills.

Total Eclipse

of the heart- couldn't resist. Seriously though, a couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to experience a total solar eclipse. Thanks to a few wonderful people in our ward we got our hand on two pair of eclipse viewing glasses. When the eclipse was in its full phase it truly was amazing to look at. It's always nice to experience these fun events with your kids.

We were trying to get an image of the ecplise to reflect on the garage using various methods. The cereal box didn't work, but Anton found a few uses for it.

11 years :)

Greg and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary in May :) We headed to Truckee for some frisbee golf. I had never played before and I have to say that I had a wonderful time. We played about 8 holes and then got yummy Thai food for dinner.





Best friend, best daddy, cute dimple- what more could I ask for. Happy Anniversary! I love you! Thanks for your patience and love. Looking forward to many more adventures.
