HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG !!!!!!

I decided since Greg is a huge fan of the Simpson's that I would make him a massive donut cake. As Homer himself would say, "Is there anything a donut can't do?"

I'M IMPRESSED

Greg has been helping my grandma pick cherries from her two cherry trees and we ended up with a ton of freshly picked ones. Greg decided that he wanted to make his first pie. As the title suggests, I was really impressed with his culinary skills. He even handmade the top portion of the crust and used cute cookie cutters to decorate HIS pie. When all was said and done the pie turned out great. I think he can take over dinner duty from now on too.

We had to take a few samples of the cherries coated in sugar and a little bit of flour-super delicious



The finished product just before it was popped into the oven. How cute is that!

45ish min. in the oven, and there you have it, a fresh cherry pie. It was extra tasty with a scoop of triple vanilla ice cream.
