This last week we flew to Indiana to visit Greg's grandpa and lots of cousins. We had a great time and the kids were excellent on the flights. We flew out on Sat. the 23rd and came home the following Sat. the 30th. It rained almost everyday we were there, but we enjoyed the wet stuff falling from the sky. Our adventures included, but were not limited to, the zoo, the botanical gardens, Indy 500 raceway museum, and the Children's museum. The girls had a spectacular time with their GREAT-grandpa, and KJ even experienced her first crush. Luckily the humidity or the bugs didn't kill us, so now we are back and living with the aftermath of a long cross-country trip....i.e. laundry, unpacking, tantrums ( the good stuff). Would we do it again? (sure, in about 10 years).
Uncle Mike and Aunt Brenda's new country retirement home. Beautiful!!
Kris,RJ,Aunt Brenda,KJ,Uncle Mike & Anton,Greg :) It sure was nice to relax out in the country, not to mention the yummy buffet lunch. Who dosen't like fried chicken, baked beans, and rhubarb crunch?

The monkeys tried to make their escape on the train, but were quickly captured and forced to smile for yet more pictures.

Looks like a ton of fun. Glad to hear that the plane rides were good....that can make or break it.
ReplyDeleteThat children's museum is pretty dang awesome. We went there last year, and Emily had a blast. Looks like you had a good trip.
