Adventures in the Great Outdoors

Ok so maybe it's only the backyard, but it still was a great adventure. Greg dug a fire pit and we roasted hot dogs and made s’mores. The girls camped with dad until about 4am when the birds decided to wake up. KJ loved it and kept saying it was just like real camping and she forgot that we were at home. It was good quality time that we spent together as a family. We had a mini lesson on the heavens; constellations, craters in the moon and the like. My favorite was KJ's comment about Meat Eaters(meteors) making the craters in the moon.
