Last weekend we hiked part of the Pacific Crest Trail. The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed the exercise that the hike provided. It was mostly uphill, but once we crested the hillside we spotted several patches of pretty wildflowers. After a brisk morning hike we ventured off to Tahoe to cool down with a quick swim in the lake.
